They lead monitored Collective Wisdom Circles where students feel heard and understood, can ask questions, and access accurate, age-appropriate information. Billing Practices
Nurses leading group therapy or mental health education sessions use specific billing codes to get reimbursed by insurance providers. This includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses (PMH-BC), and Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs), who use these codes to teach mental health skills or lead group therapy. The exact payment depends on the insurance provider. Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses (PMH-CNS-BC) often oversee these sessions to make sure everything runs smoothly, especially when they’re held online.
